Joseline Hernandez: “I’m Proud to Be a Black Woman.”

Joseline Hernandez spoke about identity, colorism and motherhood during her appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast.

The Puerto Rican entertainer expressed pride in being a Black woman and discussed negative messages about skin color that she believes people can absorb while growing up.

Her comments reflected her own experiences and perspective on identity.

For Hernandez, the conversation is also personal as a mother. She explained that she teaches her daughter to appreciate her skin, her hair and everything that makes her who she is.

That message places self-acceptance at the heart of her parenting: helping her child grow up feeling proud of herself.

Beyond the celebrity headlines, this part of the interview focused on a mother’s determination to pass confidence and self-love to the next generation.
